Let’s go back to the spirit of the founder
Since its foundation, Showa Denko has undergone many trials and difficulties by constantly developing innovative technologies and products, and continuously offering society values and benefits through utilization of new technologies.
Under the ongoing medium-term consolidated business plan “Project 2020+,” the Showa Denko Group has been striving to improve its profitability and stability, and make the Group strong. Since the world situation constantly changes, and uncertainty of business environment increases, we must go back to the spirit of the founder, Mr. Nobuteru Mori, and lead revolution.
Make the Showa Denko Group a “stage” where each member shines
The Showa Denko Group is a “stage” produced by its all members who have a variety of values and roles. All of us should aim to shape the Group into a wonderful stage which is promising and gives all stakeholders deep feelings of satisfaction.
You have joined the Company to produce the stage. I would like to ask you to take three actions from today.
- 1.Accumulate persistent efforts
Your persistent efforts will bring developments in the future. As a new employee, you have to learn a lot. Don’t worry about failing. Keep curiosity, and work passionately.
- 2.Change the Company
You, a new employee, are a kind of spice for the Company. You can find many things from a new employee’s viewpoint. Please stimulate the Company to improve.
- 3.Think, and act
I ask you to think what you can do for the Group. I ask you to think what you can do on your part, and act. You may come up against many problems in the future. However, please explore various alternatives, and keep challenging to achieve your objectives.
Your positive attitude will change your surroundings. Please make yourself shine on the stage of the Showa Denko Group, and that success will enable you to repay all the persons who supported you until today.
