Basic R&D Policy

The 21st century will be marked by nanotechnology. We will develop individualized new products and technologies in this area to better serve your life-styles and the environment.

Basic R&D Policy

During the period of the Passion Project (2006-2008), we will carry out various R&D projects with hight creativity to ensure sustainable growth of the Company.

Enhance creativity

Pursue new business models.
Establish competitive advantages through introduction of individualized products.
Further strengthen core technologies and develop synergies.

In the allocation of R&D resources, we will focus on strategic market units (SMUs) in the electronics, automotive parts and personal care/environmental goods markets. We will pursue the interconnection of inorganic/aluminum and organic chemical technologies.We will also promote market-oriented R&D to establish new business models.

We have identified six new SMUs on which we will focus our efforts to create next-generation products.
