For gscience & technologyh careers organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, biological chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, metallic engineering, civil engineering, computer science, mathematics, management engineering, etc.

Starting salaries & benefits (as of 2012)

Starting salary for graduates ¥220,000/month
Starting salary for those with masterfs degree ¥240,000/month
Starting salary for those with doctorfs degree ¥300,000/month
Allowances for special assignment, separation due to transfer, scholarship, and commutation (to be paid in accordance with Showa Denkofs rules)
Bonuses Twice a year (June, December)
Holidays Two days off a week (Saturdays and Sundays), national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, etc. (a total of 122 days off a year); annual paid holidays (17-20 days); accumulated holidays; special paid holidays (marriage, delivery, funeral, etc.); refreshment holidays; and summer holiday

Daily working hours From 9:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., with a flexible working hours system (depending on work sites)
